River Valley is Hiring a Manager for our Adolescent Sexuality Education Program!
RVCC has a spectrum of services, including a robust Adolescent Sexuality Education (ASE) program. This program provides comprehensive, trauma informed, LGBTQ competent sexuality and relationship education on site at public schools in Holyoke. Chicopee, and Springfield. We are looking for a Manager to join our team!

The person in this role will work as the manager of a state funded sexuality education grant. This person will act as the face of the ASE program, will work in schools to provide the bulk of extensive sexuality education programming, will complete all required paperwork, will ensure the program is compliant with grant requirements, and will seek out new opportunities for program expansion.
Salary range for this position is between $45,000 - $50,000 based on experience and education.
This position includes a cash hiring bonus, as well as a cash bonus in Summer 2023.

The Qualifications:
You have a Bachelor’s Degree.
You have meaningful experience working with young people, including providing classroom/behavioral management.
You have extensive knowledge of current sexuality education information, comfort discussing sexuality in front of various audiences, and have knowledge of how to make sexuality education trauma informed and LGBTQ+ competent.
You have skills and comfort with using Google Drive, including Slides, Sheets, and Docs.
Your have success working autonomously with a high degree of trustworthiness, reliability, and flexibility.
You have a car and the ability to travel to multiple sites per day.
Bilingual/Bicultural preferred.
The Job:
Provide sexuality education to students in 6th-12th grade using existing and self-authored curricula.
Act as liaison between funders and RVCC, ensuring contract expectations are being met.
Complete all paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
Provide outreach to schools to expand reach, including cold calling and going into partner sites.
Attend community meetings and represent RVCC.
