About This Role:
The Graduate School is seeking a full-time Admissions Representative. The Admission Representative will work with the Director of Graduate Recruitment and Vice Provost for Graduate Education and Dean of the Graduate School to prepare recruitment materials and to support recruitment initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with the academic units, the K-State campuses, supporting units and Graduate School team members to:

Support the enrollment efforts of the graduate school and its partnership with the academic programs by providing admissions information to prospective students
Serve as a representative and resource at various recruiting locations
Initiate and maintain a personal relationship with prospective students and family members throughout the recruitment process
Maintains high-level knowledge of university graduate admission requirements, policies and procedures.
Assist in the creation and execution of in-person and virtual recruitment events.
Have proficiency with technology and database systems to effectively support recruiting efforts

What You'll Need to Succeed: Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor's degree

Preferred Experience and Skills:
Recruitment experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent organization skills, and the ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
Strong social and communication skills with the ability to engage and present to others of diverse backgrounds.
Comfort in planning and conducting extensive travel independently, including evenings and weekends.
Demonstrated proficiency with technology (i.e. Microsoft Office including knowledge of Excel, and efficient use of e-mail.
