Delaware County Community College (DCCC), located outside of the Philadelphia Metro area, is looking for a dynamic part-time Admissions Processing Specialist to join our team of higher education professionals who are committed to student success. The Admissions Processing Specialist responsible for providing administrative support to the Admissions Office. The individual will handle the processing of admissions applications (including collecting and processing documents for special admissions programs), registration requests for high school dual enrollment students participating in specific dual enrollment programs, and acceptance letters. The Admissions Processing Specialist will also assist with requesting and indexing specific data related to enrollment, resolving application issues/errors, assisting with phone calls and emails, and other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate must be an engaging, effective, independent collaborator with strong organizational skills. This individual will have demonstrated knowledge of administrative and technical support associated with Admissions and a dedicated approach to student-centered customer service. The successful candidate will have access to sensitive student information and is expected to handle such information within confidential guidelines and with integrity and professionalism. The successful candidate will also actively participate in creating an environment that encourages, models, embraces, and incorporates diverse thoughts and perspectives of all individuals of various backgrounds, ideas, and perspectives to foster an all-inclusive atmosphere for high school students, their parent(s), and adult students.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in an administrative, educational, social services or related setting (preferred). High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education, administrative experience, or technical training is preferred.
