POSITION OBJECTIVE: Major responsibility of the position is to provide administrative assistance to the Director of Admissions and Marketing in the effort to advance the school’s mission through planning, organizing, implementing and promoting programs, activities and publications intended to attract new students and financial support for the operations, capital and endowment needs of First Baptist Academy.

QUALIFYING CHARACTERISTICS: The employee should display a commitment to Jesus Christ demonstrated in professional and personal life, a commitment to Christian education; a calling to the ministry of meeting the educational needs of children and young adults; Have excellent written and verbal communication skills; organized; team player.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in a related field required. A minimum of three years' experience in an administrative position, preferably in a not for-profit development and/or admissions office. High proficiency in Google platform applications preferred. Database management experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

❏ Provide outstanding customer service to prospective and current school families, teachers/staff, and other school community members.

❏ Communicate effectively to prospective families while collecting required documentation, relaying admissions acceptance or denials, and assisting with all onboarding processes.

❏ Use graphic design software to update and develop all annual school informational materials (tuition and fee schedules, information packets, curriculum guides, etc).

❏ Perform data entry with admissions database including inquiries, entry of new student intakes, and tracking of application and enrollment documents.

❏ Schedule meetings, tours, student shadow experiences, academic screenings, and interviews with prospective families.

❏ Personally conduct school tours as needed.

❏ Coordinate communications to new families, the Leadership Team, guidance department, and new family ambassadors regarding new student enrollment.

❏ Oversee the Step Up For Students scholarship programs including all compliance reporting and verifications.

❏ Assist with the coordination/execution of the overall FBA marketing and communications plan.

❏ Assist with administrative details and reporting associated with committee meetings and events related to admissions.

❏ Initiate facility work orders as directed.

❏ Maintain departmental reports as directed.

❏ Maintain up to date and well organized files.

❏ Establish and maintain a strong alumni relations database including prospect research, accurate record keeping, reporting, appreciation, communications, and follow-up.

❏ Design and produce an annual school profile.

❏ Complete FDOE annual compliance reporting and FDOE annual survey.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position. EXEMPT STATUS: Salaried WORK SCHEDULE: 12-month position per contract.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
