Administrative Support Specialist

Would you like to provide important admin support for a team working to improve the lives of children and families in under-resourced communities?

Cornell Cooperative Extension Tompkins County is looking for an Administrative Support Specialist for the Family and Community Development program area. This role will support a range of programs that assist and empower parents and families in Tompkins County. Responsibilities include:

• Data entry
• Supporting staff in preparing program supplies
• Assist with coordinating outreach and events as necessary
• Maintain organized and up-to-date program files
• Directing callers or providing basic information about programs

You may have experience working with people in a different environment and be surprised how transferable your skills are and suitable for this position. A willingness to learn and complete tasks is more important than matching experience.

This is a great opportunity to become part of a small team in a large organization working to support the community.
