Job Summary:
This position will take a lead role in coordinating the recurring contract services for the department, assists in the administration of the department’s work order system, and is involved in the operational elements of the department from inventory management to the development of safety training. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, productivity and efficiency with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. This is a highly trustworthy position with the expectation to maintain confidentiality with respect to files, records, and conversations. Additional responsibilities and qualifications include, but are not limited to:
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance in conjunction with department managers
- Plan and facilitate recurring contracted services, including budgeting through execution of services. Complete required inspections and certificates on time.
- Compile and update maintenance procedures & schedules for facilities & equipment
- Update equipment records and building documentation including safety regulations.
- Assist in the development and scheduling of department-specific safety training
- Administer the work order / CMMS system.
- Monitor Capital Project expenses in conjunction with the project manager.
- Manage, update, and monitor service agreements and the contractor list for the department.
- Assist with purchasing and receiving for the department in accordance with procurement and accounting policies.
- Allocate available resources to enable successful task performance.
- Organize orientation and training of new staff members as necessary.
- Establish and monitor procedures for record-keeping, ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data
- Coordinate schedules, appointments and bookings as necessary.
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment and abide by all safety rules and regulations
- Manage other miscellaneous duties as needed
- Develop and administer training programs for the department.
- Assign and verify completion of routine maintenance and operations of physical property, mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and any other related equipment which contributes to the safe and effective operation of the facility
- Perform on-site inspections of contracted work
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- A high school diploma is required. An associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree or other relevant training is desirable.
- Ability to work with outside contractors
- Ability to communicate (spoken and written) effectively and clearly to customers and all levels of staff.
- Capable of using computer programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule with the seasonal weekend, night, and holiday requirements
- Valid US Driver's License – Ability to drive various company vehicles
- Must be able to work individually/unsupervised as well as part of the team
- Knowledge of building construction and building systems is desirable (Water, sewer, fire alarm, sprinkler, access control, etc.)
- Must be well organized, document work and operate within budget constraints
- Must be comfortable working outside in extreme weather conditions
- The job requires standing for long periods of time, frequent walking, reaching, climbing and good balance, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
- Must be able to work at heights, confined spaces, ladders, utility spaces, remote locations, and use resort transportation (ride lifts, groomer, ATV/UTV)
- Maintain a professional appearance and deliver exceptional guest service.

- Observe all employee rules and regulations, observe all applicable safety standards and company safety policies. Contribute to a culture of safety.
- Must possess a willingness to assist with the overall needs of the department and resort.
The budgeted range starts at $18.18 - $22.73. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
