Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Provide administrative support for three directors and approximately 60 employees

  • Support will include specific program-related activities as well as general administrative duties.

  • Position also includes planning travel and completing expense reports using the Concur software application.

  • Performs a variety of secretarial and administrative duties for assigned supervisor/manager or senior staff member.

  • Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining alphabetical, numerical and/or subject files; interviewing callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail.

  • Uses personal computers and standard desktop software to compose reports, correspondence, and memorandums; reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.

  • May provide guidance and direction, as needed, to other entry level administrative professionals and clerical employees.

  • Regular use of common Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word), and Concur.

  • Will also provide support to special initiatives such as office space planning and special meeting support.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of prior relevant administrative or office experience.

Demonstrated excellent prioritization and organizational skills.

Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel experience.

High School diploma, or equivalent.

Prior experience making travel arrangements, reviewing travel expenses and credit card charges, and processing expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Must be capable of acquiring a Secret DoD security clearance AND have the ability to be cleared to Special Access Programs.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity and understanding of Lockheed Martin company policies/procedures and expense reporting systems.

Familiarity with Concur Travel System.

Prior administrative experience in Aerospace & Defense industry or related business environment.

Prior experience supporting executive level leadership in administrative role.

Experience making complicated multi-trip arrangement and international travel itineraries.

High energy, flexible, and motivated to take on stretch assignments that support program and team needs.

Secret DoD security clearance within 6 year renewal.

Ability to work well with all levels of staff as well as external contacts.

Team player that can multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic, and demanding environment.

Excellent professionalism and interpersonal skills, project coordination
