Position Summary

The administrative assistant/resident services coordinator acts as the liaison between the residents and management as well as social services agencies. The coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support, bookkeeping, and assisting with apartment rental.


Duties/Responsibilities

  • Performs essential bookkeeping duties including; computing all charges for resident billing and maintaining rent roll, making payment deposits, collecting and recording security deposits
  • Acts as rental coordinator by providing tours to prospective residents, processing rental applications, preparing move-in paperwork and assisting with move-ins
  • Maintains HUD compliance preparing initial resident recertification, keeping updated resident files, developing and distributing correspondence, forms and other communications as needed
  • Supports office through ordering of supplies, maintaining copy machine and preparing maintenance work orders
  • Assists residents with daily needs, providing information and resources to support the whole person including social and recreational

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • 2-4 years’ experience with bookkeeping, social services or property management/leasing preferred
  • Experience with HUD properties, plus
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

Salary based on experience, starting at $16 per hour
