Position Summary

Dawes Rigging and Crane Rental, Inc in Milwaukee is seeking a Administrative Assistant with solid general office skills to answer incoming phone calls and assist in the accounts payable department as well as other miscellaneous office duties. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Essential Functions

  • Answer incoming telephone calls and provide excellent customer service
  • Assist with the planning and execution of employee special events
  • Book all travel arrangements for employees
  • Oversee all Dawes promotional items with assistance from corporate
  • Assist General Manager with various tasks
  • Assist Accounting department in accounts payables
  • Ensure accurate tracking, monitoring and recording of all charges, records and other entries
  • Various administrative tasks such as processing documents, faxing, filing and data entry
  • Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations

Skills and Experience Requirements

  • Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have solid general office skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to operate office equipment and technology
