Job description
The School District of Jefferson is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant position in the District Office. The Administrative Assistant II - Human Resources and Employee Benefits' primary responsibility is to provide secretarial and organizational skills to support the Director of Business Services.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Onboarding for all new district employees
- Serve as the point of contact with the District's Sub Management partner, Teachers On Call
- Prepare and send staff contracts/letters of employment and resignation
- Process vacancies for all staff
- Coordinate staff directory information
- Manage employee benefits

Qualifications:
Must have strong technology skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Must be self-motivated, have strong interpersonal skills and have a demonstrated knowledge of office procedures and equipment. Must be able to maintain the highest integrity in regard to confidential information. Post high school education desirable.
