Immediate need for entry level Human Resource position.

Successful Licensed Home Health Care Agency is seeking an individual to join our team. This position requires following the organization's hiring process to fill open Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide positions. This individual will also be responsible to recruit trainees for the Company's Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide training program.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Actively recruit Home Health Aides, Personal Care Aides, and Trainees through out the capital district area
  • Perform all functions related to the hiring process from application up to and including orientation
  • Prepare advertisements and job postings
  • Identify and attend job fairs and relevant area recruiting events
  • Establish relationships with training schools, placement agencies, social service agencies, and community placement agencies.
  • Monitor online presence and other accounts for updating job postings
  • Inform potential candidates and trainees of the application process and provide a list of required documents for hire.
  • Collect information for personnel files in compliance with NYS DOH regulations
  • File initial Workman's Compensation paperwork
  • Must have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and recruit with a sense of urgency
  • Prepare and distribute ID badge / bag / supplies to new hires
  • Send written confirmation to termed / inactive employees
  • Send written confirmation to rejected applicants
  • Data entry for employees and clients
  • Create, organize maintain new employee files
  • Obtain references
  • Prepare orientation materials
  • Create, organize and assist nursing staff in maintaining client charts
  • Front end Administrative Assistant duties ( light filing, monthly newsletter, distributing paychecks, running to the post office, place office orders)

Qualifications: Ideal candidate will possess previous home care experience
Prior experience in recruiting, marketing, and administrative support

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow and use time efficiently
  • Ability to show strong attention to detail
  • Must have excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Troy, NY 12182: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
