The Bowen Group, a values-led, industry leader in telehealth, strategic communications, and wellness services and staffing is searching for an Administrative Assistant. This is a full-time position at the government site in Falls Church, VA.

This position is contingent upon award of a government contract. Level up in your career and support the military community at The Bowen Group.

CORE FUNCTIONS:
The specific contract daily operations include:
    • May provide secretarial, call, word processing, and editing support.
    • Performs routine administrative functions including correspondence management, logistics coordination, calendar management, event and training coordination, records management, file management, tasker management, visitor access control, travel coordination, and online content administration.
    • Supports government staff in preparing for recurring town halls, including preparatory work on agenda and read-ahead packages.
    • Coordinates and tracks incoming tasks.
    • Provides content administration for SharePoint and MilSuite.

Skills in:
    • Engaging, supporting, and collaborating with other members of the team, the company, and the client.
    • Building professional relationships both internal and external to the organization.
    • Must be proficient in all Microsoft products including Office 365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
    • Assisting in the coordination of meetings both virtually and in person.

Ability to:
    • Perform project tasks in accordance with best professional judgment, contract requirements, and established timelines and with the expected level of quality.
    • Effectively manage the leadership schedule
    • Provide quality checks on documents coming in and going out of the department.
    • Coordinate with team members on the execution of project activities.

Engage, support, and collaborate with other members of the team, the company and the customer. Exchange ideas and strategies to plan work processes or developmental efforts. Review and provide feedback on developed work or planning.

Program Support
Plan, develop, or conduct project tasks by leveraging subject matter expertise. Perform project tasks in accordance with best professional judgment, contract requirements, and established timelines and with the expected level of quality.

Analysis and Strategizing
Manages the Director’s schedule to ensure that her time is efficiently utilized.
Microsoft Office familiarity

Education and Work Experience:
    • Education: High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree
    • Work Experience: 2 years of relevant administrative experience

Industry Knowledge:
    • Knowledge of Microsoft products to include Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.
    • Must possess basic knowledge of the DoD structure.

    • Must be a U.S. citizen
    • Must be able to obtain a favorable background check
