At The Fitness Lab – The Functional Movement and Rehab Specialists, we pride ourselves on being the Denver Metro area leader in Physical Therapy, Medical Exercise, Personal Training, Recovery and Sports Performance. We utilize a comprehensive wellness approach to health, training, and rehab. The Fitness Lab was founded on the principles of individualized, direct, one-on-one care for our patients. Patient sessions last between 45 minutes to 1 hour and are spent entirely with a physical therapist.
Our patient population is very diverse, ranging from adolescent athletes, weekend warriors, professional athletes and Medicare patients to name a few. The majority of our therapist caseload is orthopedic, sports med, and post-surgical cases. Our team is made up of personal trainers, medical exercise specialists and physical therapists- who work closely with local personal trainers, fitness professionals, yoga and Pilates instructors, massage therapists, MDs, and other strength and conditioning specialists.
As our demand has grown, we are looking to add another quality Administrative Assistant to our team! Currently we have 4 locations, one in Highlands Ranch, one in Greenwood Village, two in Parker, and a new Denver location in the RINO district opening soon. This position is for our new Downtown Denver RINO location.
Our Ideal Candidate:
At the Fitness Lab, we are looking for a teammate who is reliable, honest, hardworking, health conscious, comfortable in a fitness/medical clinic and is generally fun and energetic to be around! Professionally, our ideal candidate is a good team player with strong organizational and communication skills - both written and verbal. The candidate will be dependable and possess the ability to multitask in a front office role. In addition, having a background as Rehab Tech and/or Personal Trainer is a huge plus! This role could turn into part front desk, part rehab tech/personal trainer. Our future teammate must have a passion for helping others!
Qualifications (we are willing to train the right candidate):
- 1+ years experience working for a medical/outpatient physical therapy office in a front desk role
- Comprehensive knowledge of WebPT, Mindbody, Google Sheets/Docs, and/or MS Word and Excel is a plus
- Previous experience with physical therapy medical authorizations
- General knowledge of administrative functions
- Knowledge of the importance of health & fitness
Job Requirements:
- Responsible for answering and directing incoming calls and faxes
- Manage therapist and patient schedules
- Greet all patients/clients entering the facility and checking them in
- Collecting payments at time of service
- Complete clerical and filing functions as directed
- Insurance verification and management of visit authorizations (will train to our systems)
- Keeping a clean and well organized work space
- Other duties as assigned
Certifications: (not required)
- Medical Billing and Coding
- CMAA
- CPR
Compensation:
- Competitive Salary and/or Hourly rate if part-time
- Dependent on Experience
