POSITION OVERVIEW
The Acquisitions Change Management Specialist will assist in executing the Evernest acquisition game plan by managing the changing of accounts between acquired companies and Evernest. This will include creating and executing on timelines for all accounts to be layered into the Evernest platform with the exclusion of real estate leases. This role is vital in creating a consistent transition between acquired companies and our Evernest platform and will work hand in hand with each department involved in our acquisition transitions. This position is responsible for helping Evernest reach 18,000+ units acquired in 2023, which helps the company move towards its goal of 250,000 homes under management by 12/31/2029.
COMPETENCIES & REQUIREMENTS
Outcomes

  • Fully understand acquisition lifecycle processes within 1 month

    • Understand all functions related to the front end acquisition process

      • Fully understand Evernest’s Corporate Acquisition Strategy

      • Sit in on all acquisition scrum calls

      • Fully understand what types of systems and accounts will transition to Evernest

      • Understand our current timelines for execution of integration

    • Understand all stages and functions of acquisitions through close

      • Interview acquisition integration team members to learn about their process and how those processes are related to front end corporate development and deal structure

      • Fully understand the schedule of events and timing of closing-related materials from PSA to close for sellers, EN departments, legal, financing and the integration processes

  • Design and execute on front and back end systems and timelines

    • Create and execute on new processes for efficiently transitioning accounts between acquired company and Evernest

  • Responsibilities and duties

    • Communicate directly with sellers on acquiring list of accounts

    • Work with VP and M & A to determine what accounts need to be transferred to corporate Evernest and what will need to be transferred to successfully transition properties to PM operations

    • Perform any other duties as requested by the Director of Mergers & Acquisitions

  • Success in this role is defined by the following outcomes

    • Data management efficacy

      • Able to respond in a timely manner and act with urgency at all times

      • Attend 100% scrum meetings

      • Complete list of pre-determined account transitions at the time of close

      • Complete secondary account transition within 10 business days of close
