A successful Industrial Company located in La Porte, TX is seeking a Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team. This is a La Porte office based position, it is not remote.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Prepare invoices for customers

· Process invoices in customer portal (MS Dynamics, Ariba, SAP, etc.)

· Responds to customer inquiries and requests

· Responds to Sales department request

· Assist Accounts Receivable Supervisor with monthly reporting, as assigned

· Assist Accounts Receivable Supervisor with sales tax reporting, as needed

· Perform other duties as assigned

· Proactively engage and support company initiative designed to promote a culture of safe working, environmental protection and continual improvement.

REQUIREMENTS:

· High School diploma or GED equivalent

· Minimum five (5) years accounting/billing experience

· Knowledge of D365 and/or Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta) is a plus

· Experience with Time & Material is a plus

· Proficient with latest versions of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word

· Strong attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work effectively

Pay rate: up to $24/hr, DOE

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm - OT needed on occasion, maybe even a Saturday once a month (during close monthly/quarterly/year-end)

Flexible start times 7am or 8am, 8 hour day/ standard lunch break
