Position Summary
The Vensure Accounts Payable team has an immediate opening for a motivated candidate looking to work in a rapidly growing company. Reporting to the VP of Accounts Payable, you will supervise and actively participate in the team's effort to process vendor payments accurately and timely, in addition to assisting in new acquisition integrations and system and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, hire, train, and motivate account payables team members.
  • Oversee and assist in all accounts payable-related activities, including approvals, payments, postings, and accounting close.
  • Maintain vendor master set up
  • Ensure timely submission of 1099 filings.
  • Create and maintain accounting and management reporting across multiple operating systems
  • Help with new acquisition integrations
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned

  • Exceptional time management skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Demonstrated professional written and verbal communication, patience, perseverance, and follow through skills
  • Problem solving skills are mandatory as well as the ability to manage resources
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years Accounts Payable experience
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and demonstrated ability to learn other applications as needed
