Prestigious San Diego based Community Association Management Company is currently seeking an energetic, self-motivated Accounts Payable Administrator to work in our corporate office. We rely on a meticulous financial system to drive our business forward. The accounts payable (AP) department keeps that system running smoothly by managing cash flow and paying vendors and suppliers. We are searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our AP team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

Essential functions of the job:

• Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
• Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance
• Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process a high volume of data entry daily
• Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables
• Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures
• Obtain information and/or data regarding invoice payments
• Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner
• Input daily bookkeeping and record keeping
• Other duties as assigned

Required qualifications, skills and abilities:

• Two years of proven working experience as Accounts Payable
• An understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills is required
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Excellent customer service attitude
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
• Strong organizational skills
