Based in our National Support Center in south Denver, Tuff Shed is recruiting for an AP Assistant to join our busy and growing accounting team. This team member will be working in-office, M-F, with the option of half day Friday's. We are located off of I-25 and Colorado Blvd.DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A SUCCESSFUL TUFF SHED AP ASSISTANT?
- Capture Invoices in Accounting Software Medius
- Distribute electronic and physical mail
- Document Import-correcting errors in Medius
- Prepare/organize outgoing mail and FedEx shipments as needed
- Scan as needed
- Review invoices that can't be captured
- Other duties as assigned/assist Clerks as needed
- Mail checks - weekly
- Distribute statements - monthly
- Mail quarterly taxes-priority mail
- Mail 1099 forms - annually
- Strong verbal and written communication skill set
- proficient using standard arithmetic and statistical tools
- Intermediate MS Excel spreadsheet skills
- Some accounting desired
High School diploma or equivalent.
