Job description
The Title 31 Clerk is responsible for the monitoring of financial activity to ensure the detection of suspicious activity and compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) related laws, including verifying accuracy and correctness of figures and calculations of all recorded transactions against original documents for Title 31 purposes. Ensures all available information acquired is utilized in creating reporting packets for review.
Please Note: This position requires a Class III Gaming License via the Washington State Gambling Commission. In order to obtain this, you'll need to submit a background check and Hair Based Drug Test (excludes Marijuana) AFTER accepting an offer with us.
How You'll Make An Impact:
- With relationship to job duties and job responsibilities; ensures compliance with the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe - State of Washington Gaming Compact, NIGC Regulations and The Point Casino & Hotel Internal Controls, Policies and Procedures.
- Knowledge of BSA Title 31 reporting requirements and Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) requirements.
- Audit CTR documents, and/or reports, and review summary data to ensure all recordable and reportable cash transactions have been captured.
- Accurately prepares documents for reporting Currency Transaction Reports.
- Performs Casino Title 31 functions as directed
- Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
- Files MTLs after reviewed by Compliance Officer or Revenue Audit Manager.
- Promotes positive public and employee relations through efficient, courteous, professional services.
- Attends regularly scheduled department staff meeting.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
- Back up for Soft Count Team.
- Performs Casino Revenue Audit functions as directed.
- Performs all other duties as deemed necessary.
- Complies with state, company, department policies and regulations.
What We're Looking For:
- Must qualify for Class III gaming license issued from the Washington State Gambling Commission.
- 1+ years experience performing the same or similar job duties preferred.
- Must have basic knowledge of Anti Money Laundering (AML) laws.
- 6+ months experience in the gaming industry preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret basic audit spreadsheets and financial reports.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all unites of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Must have excellent computer skills (experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and various gaming related accounting systems).
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.

- Occasionally requires stooping which entails the use of the lower extremities and back muscles.
- Occasionally requires reaching by extending the hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
- Occasionally requires raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally.
- Constantly requires repetitive movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Requires clear vision at 20 inches or less, the ability to identify and distinguish color and to adjust focus.
