Overview:Hicuity Health, the leading high acuity telemedicine provider in the United States, is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Accounting Manager- Financial Reporting. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. Responsibilities include major areas of the month-end close process, preparation of GAAP and pro-forma financial statements, and other duties.

Responsibilities:
- Support accurate and timely monthly close process including the preparation of GAAP and pro-forma financial statements.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
- Maintain fixed asset sub ledger and accounting support.
- Maintain prepaid accounts and supporting documents.
- Manage capital expenditure approvals, budgeting, reporting, and supporting documentation.
- Review, analyze and record the payroll journal entries and maintain the business rules within the payroll system.
- Prepare monthly variance reports – analyze, track, and report results.
- Maintain employee reimbursement system. Manage employee profiles, recording company transactions and assisting with technical matters.
- Maintain stock tool. Manage participants and transactions related to stock activity.
- Stay abreast of current accounting practices (GAAP) and maintain accounting principles in accordance with current standards.
- Maintain internal control processes and reporting on those processes (Access, terminations, etc.)
- Support the annual financial statement audit and preparation of the statements.
- Manage our sales, state/local, and federal tax compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in accounting or related field, CPA (preferred).
- Prefer prior public accounting experience of 3+ years.
- Seven + years of progressively responsible financial work experience, preferably in high growth healthcare services
- Thorough and demonstrated knowledge of financial and accounting practices and procedures.
- Previous similar experience in a growth based organziation with direct responsibility for financial close, reporting, budgeting and an outside audit process.
- Strong computer skills with experience in mid-size & larger financial systems, Microsoft Excel & Word.
- Superior analytic skills.
