This role reports to the Corporate Controller and will report and consolidate financial results from the many clinical practices we have within our portfolio. The Accounting Manager will communicate and collaborate with organizational stakeholders at every level as well as with outside auditors and tax accountants. This role will lead a team of accountants will support our Controller to build a world class accounting and financial reporting organization around an optimized new NetSuite accounting system.

Responsibilities:

• Manage month end, quarter end, and year end closing processes within tight deadlines and ensure completion of financial statements and supporting analyses based on SOX compliance standards (including general ledger analysis, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and roll forwards).
• Ensure compliance with appropriate GAAP and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Provide financial and business analyses based on information from various sources and financial reports. Prepare budget and forecast variance reports and analyze financial results related to expectations.
• Present results of analysis and recommend appropriate actions to senior management.
• Consolidate monthly financial statements and report to stakeholders.
• Assist with annual audit and tax return preparation with external accountants.
• Assists the Controller in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the internal control framework surrounding financial reporting.
• Support purchasing accounting for purchased practices.
• Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting and various financial analysis functions, including operational analyses and KPIs.
• Train and supervise accounting staff.
• Partner with Controller to implement other critical accounting process changes or to complete other Accounting and Finance related process improvements (e.g., AP Automation, etc.)
• Execute cross-functional projects to deliver on key Company initiatives, as needed.
