Hybrid schedule (2 days remote) for Accounting Manager available after 4-6 weeks of in-office training.

Accounting Manager Job Description:
We are looking for an Accounting Manager to supervise the accounting team. The ideal candidate must possess strong accounting knowledge and can manage multiple priorities. This position will be responsible for leading daily operations, maintaining accurate and timely financial records and reporting, and supporting the business in all aspects.

Accounting Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Process the company’s weekly payroll and review the payroll tax reports.
• Manage the period-end close process by ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all accounting entries, reconciliations, and analytical reviews for all aspects of the business.
• Provide the accounting guidance, streamline the existing procedures, introduce the new system and serve as a mentor to instruct the staff accountants.
• Partner with the external CPA firm to ensure accounting records meet the tax compliance requirements.
• Prepare the ad-hoc financial reports for internal management reporting and external financial institutions per project.
• Liaison with the human resources department to analyze and implement the employee benefits.
• Coordinate with the operation department for the annual business commercial insurance renewal and audits.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments to provide support of the daily operations.
• Assist the CEO with any ad hoc research and reporting projects.

Accounting Manager Job Qualifications:

• 2+ years of finance, accounting, or a related business experience including experience in a supervisory role (Accounting Manager, Controller, Accounts Payable Manager, Finance Manager, Senior Accountant, Accounting Supervisor).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.
• Supervisory experience requires managing and developing teams.
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels of employees.
• Well-developed decision-making skills and analytical skills and the ability to organize data and provide recommendations and solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
