We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time, Accounting Clerk to join our Finance department. The Accounting Clerk will provide support to the Accounts Payable Coordinator and the Accounting department and is responsible for the timely processing of payments, reconciliation of invoices and handling transactions. The Accounting Clerk will also prepare financial reports, assist with audits and handle all other accounting tasks as requested. Must have attention to detail, be able to multi-task and have excellent communication skills to communicate to vendors. The Clerk will be expected to meet month end deadlines by completing all position competencies. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of the Christian Health.

Competencies:
  • Processing Invoices, Credits, and getting approvals through DocuSign, for Summer Hill, Siena Village, Home Care Options, and Holland Christian Home.
  • Processes gift shop receipts.
  • Provides backup to entering cash sheet.
  • Prepare weekly check runs for Summer Hill, Siena Village, Home Care Options, and Holland Christian Home.
  • Scans A/P Invoices for CH and Affiliates.
  • Processes The Vista deposits.
  • Processes A/R to G/L Reconciliation for Christian Health and Affiliates.
  • Reconciles accounts payable reconciliation for Christian Health and Affiliates.
  • Makes journal entries for Christian Health and Affiliates.
  • Completes bank reconciliations.
  • Reconciles foundation deposits.
  • Process Amex posting.
  • Completes monthly FTE report.
  • Assists with yearly audits.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.

Education:
High School diploma required. Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred. Related course work in business preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:
  • Three (3) years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) for Windows and able to utilize financial systems software.
