Job Overview:

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking to hire a full-time Accounting Assistant in Baton Rouge, LA. This position will be 100% in-office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Administrative Team’s execution of duties (Payroll/Accounts Payable)
• Compare supplier/subcontractor invoices to purchase agreements or contracts
• Make sales/use tax determinations
• Initiate and submit customer billings
• Prepare various daily, weekly, monthly and job-to-date reports
• Establish and maintain files as directed
• Data entry for payroll and accounts payable

Qualifications:

• Preferred 2 years’ experience in Payroll and Accounts Payable
• Advanced knowledge of mathematics, understanding of organizational accounting concepts
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Effective leadership and initiative, communication, including writing, speaking and active listening
• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with pVault and Viewpoint
• Experience in the construction industry
