Job description
The person in this role will work directly with our clients. They will be responsible to keep cruise reservations in balance.
This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
- Double checking the accuracy of all bookings.
- Maintaining the balance due on reservations – Making sure reservations are up to date with the payments needed.
- Answering and directing phone calls.
- Communicating via email regarding any financial needs from the guests.
- Auditing reservations pre and post cruise to ensure all financials are accurate.
- Communicating with cruise lines for financial needs.
- Maintaining the commissions received are applied to the correct reservation.
- Maintaining company charges are applied to correct statements.
- Experience working in the cruise industry is preferred
- Excellent phone skills.
- The ability to work well with people and have a great attitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good math and calculator skills.
- Computer skills, including the ability to use the internet and email frequently.
- The ability to keep calm under pressure.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Ability to function in a past-faced environment, under short time constraints, and within established deadlines.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Typing and handwriting included in position duties. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies. Specific vision abilities include the ability to read computer monitor, files, and other documents as needed.
