Position Description

The Accounting Admin is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the Company’s invoices to include coding, processing and research. Will perform financial transactions for company and their customers while also providing service as questions arise.

In addition, the position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.

Position Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and route to the appropriate person or take detailed messages
• Maintain a positive relationship with customers, internal and external, always extend excellent customer service
• Performs various accounting, finance, credit administration and clerical duties as directed
• Ensure correct sorting, coding, matching of invoices, receipts, purchase orders, and entry to the appropriate general ledger account
• Resolve invoice discrepancies
• Prepare daily receivable deposits
• Assists in the collection of delinquent accounts
• Maintains e-commerce product information
• Updates customer accounts daily
• Reconcile cash drawer daily
• Issue invoices and statements to customers and send through various channels (mail, e-mail etc.) monthly and as requested
• Receive payments through various methods (cash, online payments etc.) and check for credibility.
• Answer questions and handle complaints from customers regarding invoices and statements
• Provide support to other groups within the company as directed

Qualifications/Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required, college courses in accounting or finance a plus

Physical Requirements

• Lifting of 20lbs as needed
• Computer work in an office setting to include inventory programs and Microsoft.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in written or verbal skills with management and team members.
