Where You'll Work & The Scope:

Vishay in Malvern, PA is currently seeking a full time Accountant responsible for ensuring the proper recording of accounting transactions in order to accurately report the division’s financial position and ensure timely recording of transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices. This position includes compiling, auditing, and analyzing accounting data, identifying problems and implementing solutions in order to prepare accurate financial statements.

How You'll Help Us Build the DNA of Tech:

• Prepares journal entries; maintains and reconciles ledger accounts
• Provides records of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions
• Balances books periodically and prepares profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements
• Special projects related to general accounting
• Support the annual budget and quarterly forecast preparation as required
• Assist in the Sarbanes-Oxley related audits and year end financial audit

Experience You'll Need:

• Minimum of 2 years diversified general accounting experience.

• PC knowledge, specifically Excel, Word and accounting ERP system (SAP).

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• Ability to complete assignments under tight time frames coupled with the flexibility to work extended hours, when required, to complete work as assigned.
