Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as an Account Services Representative. In this important role, you will offer world-class Customer Service, as well as effectively help manage the Credit & Collections for the company as the face of Kenworth Sales to our customers. You will be trained on how to effectively manage customer relationships, make credit decisions, collect monies that are due from customers, and resolve complex customer issues. In this interesting and challenging role, no single day is the same. Key to this important role is partnering with internal company stakeholders to help resolve customer issues looking for opportunities to improve internal company processes and procedures.
Earn $20 - $25 an hour (DOE)!

Although no previous experience is required, we are looking for individuals who have potential beyond this position and are enthusiastic about offering world-class customer service in a team environment. Kenworth Sales is an Equal Opportunity Employer.



Reporting Relationships:

This position reports directly to the Corporate Credit Director


Qualifications:

Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills are desired. Preferred candidate should have an excellent capacity to learn and adapt. Previous Accounting, Customer Service, Credit & Collections, and intermediate computer systems experience including Excel and Word are a plus. Although a College Degree is not required, college-level coursework is also a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service: Assisting customers to resolve issues related to their accounts.
2. Credit Decisioning: Ongoing evaluation of creditworthiness for new and existing customers using state-of-the-art credit decisioning practices and tools.
3. Collections: Effectively monitor customer accounts on a weekly basis partnering with customers to effectively manage their accounts.
4. Account Maintenance: Manage customer accounts on existing computer systems.
5. Relationship Building: Partnering with external customers and internal company stakeholders to resolve complex customer issues.
6. Accountability: Meet with the Corporate Credit Director weekly to discuss the status of customer accounts and solicit assistance in resolving complex customer issues.
7. Team Work: Actively participate in weekly team meetings, assist fellow team members as needed to achieve their objectives, proactively suggest, develop, and contribute to team process improvement opportunities.
8. Empowerment: Take the lead in managing your assigned portfolio of customer accounts as well as tackling the daily challenges of this important corporate role.
