Summary
The Account Manager is an inside sales position responsible for the sale of Offen’s fuel products and services to retail gas station clients in Colorado. This position also provides ongoing support to the branded distribution partners and local unbranded customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily Support for senior Strategic Account Manager(s) with brand maintenance activities including, but not limited to, helping retail station meet brand standards, assist with mystery shop performance, and increase the overall fuel throughput at a location to maximize Offen’s return on investment
- Assist in renewal negotiation of dealer supply agreements
- Develop and maintain strong contacts by challenging the customer and delivering insight into their business
- Assist Operations team in communication with client related to orders, delivery dates and inventory levels
- Understand changes to the retail station marketplace including regulatory and competitive pressures on retail gas station owners
- Troubleshoot issues regarding fuel products provided and address any customer complaints
- Assist with daily fuel pricing determination and communication
- Assume customer relationships after Strategic Account Manager has secured a contract signature for a new client
- Monitor refiner promotions and assist with customer incentive processing
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area and 5+ years of experience in sales operations in a related industry
- Experience with managing key customer and vendor relationships and following through on new sales opportunities
- Strong customer focus and ability to balance multiple customer needs
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- High level of written and oral communication skills
- Insight Driven Sales Skills
- 30% of this position is outside the office and will include local travel in Colorado
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Working Environment and Physical Demands
Work is performed in a standard office environment with frequent travel. Requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
