About the Role:
Transfix is on an exciting growth trajectory, and we are looking for a Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll develop relationships with our customers (shippers), to gain a deep understanding of their business needs and help them manage their critical shipments with best in class customer service. As the primary contact for a wide range of shippers, you’ll be proactively communicating with them, sharing price quotes, designing solutions, and supporting them with any operational challenges that arise.

Note: This position will be 100% in office for training, and following the training period will be a hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days remote role.
In this Role You Will:
Communicate and meet regularly with a book of shipper customers to gain a deep understanding their business goals and needs; ensure that we are meeting or exceeding their expectations, goals, and key performance metrics so that we can further develop and grow accounts
Develop multiple relationships across all customer contacts and deliver a positive experience so that you can drive client retention and account growth
Solve logistical issues in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of shipments while keeping proper documentation in the system
Identify new opportunities for growth within an existing book of business
Assist with further developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and engagement plans for top accounts
Lead business reviews where you will ask customers to trust you with their freight; you’ll also provide quotes, complete RFPs, resolve issues, and communicate shipment updates as needed
Ensure accurate rates and accessorials are applied to shipment; accept or reject load tenders as needed
Ensure day-to-day operations and shipments are executed in a timely and proper manner in accordance with SOPs, Contract Terms, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Collaborate closely with operations, carrier, pricing, and support teams, communicating your customers needs to ensure alignment and maximize success
Provide input on new processes, workflows, and pricing strategies to fulfill customer needs
Monitor, review, and analyze customer and market data to deliver valuable insights, negotiate solutions, and continuously improve
Drive automation, integrations, and technology adoption for our shippers
You’re an Excellent Fit for this Role if:
You have 3+ years’ experience in Logistics Account Management and/or Sales
You are flexible, adaptable, and open to new ways of working in a traditional industry; we are disrupting and industry and always innovating!
You love solving complex problems
You demonstrate strong internal and external communication skills including verbal, written, presentation, and active listening
Previous experience with B2B enterprise accounts, tech companies, and/or a hyper-growth B2B startup is always an advantage
You are willing to travel up to 10%
