As such, we are currently seeking an Account Manager who demonstrates the following skills and brings the following experience:


  • 3+ years of directly related marketing/advertising or project management experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms
  • 3+ years of experience working with mid-senior level customers to understand the motivation, timeframe and acceptable level of effort for agency projects
  • Knowledge of media planning and KPIs a plus, familiarity working against goals and budgets a must
  • Able to manage own workflow while coordinating with project teams and management on schedules, requirements, goals, and assignments as needed
  • Able to create & manage complex schedules with overlapping priorities and deadlines
  • Possess experience with Web analytics systems (e.g., Google Analytics) or the desire to learn
  • Experience managing monthly billing procedures and willingness to own the invoicing process
  • Able to shift priorities quickly and examine issues both strategically and tactically
  • Able to multitask, perform efficiently and well under tight deadlines
  • Able to carry out detailed tasks and projects with minimal direction or supervision
  • Willing to take direction, but also work independently
  • Able to respond positively to customer feedback
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to effectively manage relationships, both internally and externally
  • Display a dependable, strong work ethic
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative suites
  • Technically proficient with Drupal Web content management systems
  • Hospitality/tourism experience is a plus

Job Snapshot: The Account Manager performs in a highly visible role, coordinating the day-to-day tasks with Clients and the Creative/Production Team. The Account Manager organizes and manages the day-to-day workflow of all projects, acting as the liaison between the creative and production teams to work directly with the client and Account Director to communicate project status. Candidates must possess excellent communications skills with the ability to manage and communicate with a team of creative and technical professionals. A demonstrated history of simultaneously managing multiple programs and projects and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline orientated environment, adapting quickly to changing deadlines and always flexible in shifting tasks to meet deliverables. Essential Duties:

  • Represent Miles Partnership and client accounts in client meetings
  • Manage day to day deliverables in collaboration with the client and production team
  • Ensure all contractual requirements are consistently being met with the client
  • Build relationships with stakeholders in the client’s tourism industry, as well as, explore new business opportunities
  • Conduct project discoveries and gather technical requirements. Implement plans for new projects and programs
  • Identify and provide ongoing key measurements. Analyzes reporting with suggestions for corresponding program adjustments.
  • Coordinate with the production team to deliver products on schedule/budget
  • Manage communication with the client, reporting on project status and deliverables
  • Manage and maintain weekly status meetings/documents
  • Manage resources and freelancers to assist workload of the production team
  • Create and maintain project schedules
  • Work with the Creative and Media teams and Account Director to develop project scopes
  • Create and maintain tracking procedures for the contract/approved scopes
  • Manage and process all invoices and own the billing process
  • Create, maintain and circulate client and project status reports
  • Responsible for internal and external documentation/communication of agreements, account details and deliverables
  • Support Account Director in maintaining and growing quality client relationships - identify potential business opportunities
  • Responsible for keeping Account Director updated on issues of strategic/political importance

Location:

  • ALASKA preferred -We are open to a remote candidate located in Pacific Standard Time

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional intra- and/or inter-state travel required, sometimes requiring an overnight stay

Other Requirements:

Salary Range: $55,000 - 65,000 DOE
