Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to communicate with customers and management successfully.
• Ability to travel by personal automobile within assigned territory to meet with prospects and clients
• Ability to monitor Account Receivables and communicate and track payment activity
• Ability to communicate job specifications to plant
• Ability to identify special or unusual customer requirements to then present to plant
• Ability to use ASI system for request for quotes, inventory review and history reports
• Ability to assist Account Managers with inventory management based on client needs
• Ability to assist and facilitate graphics and structure approval
• Ability to communicate logistic requirements based on client needs
• Ability to communicate quality issues with plant
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite products including Outlook, Word and Excel

Additional Duties

• Inspect or re-work quality product at client as needed
• Deliver small quantities of product
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be accurate and precise, be a good communicator, and be a problem solver. Must maintain and have access to a personal computer (if working from a home office), valid driver’s license and access to personal automobile for visiting clients. The individual must be capable of operating without direct supervision. Must have High school diploma or equivalent. Associates or bachelor degrees are a plus

Account Executive is the direct representative of Century Box with prospects and clients. Their main function is to identify and develop sales opportunities for paperboard packaging with both current and prospective clients, and to secure orders. They are responsible for the management of all active clients assigned to them. Management includes quoting, overseeing the ordering process, furthering structural or graphic development, and working to ensure that job logistics and quality match client expectations. Individual must be able to effectively communicate with internal management, customers, and plant employees. Individual is required to maintain quality work and accurate retrievable records.
