Job Title: Account ExecutiveJob Location: Remote (MUST be in the Los Angeles Area)
Will be traveling to meet with Clients F2F and occasional visits to the office
Job Type: Permanent / Full Time
Salary: $75k - $100k
Our Client is seeking an Account Executive to join their Global Sales Division in their Los Angeles area. This position would also have some responsibility for some clients in the West Central Region on a key account manager basis.
Specific responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
General Functions and Key Activities:
- Conduct F2F meetings with existing and target export accounts in Michigan and Ohio Valley area.
- Document the minutes / results of these meetings in the company specified reporting platform and work closely with the Trade dept to ensure market information is shared promptly in effort to retain and/or increase our markets share in said territory.
- Perform other as needed reports on activity, lift, revenue, etc as specified by senior management.
- Aggressively seek new accounts as well as reaffirming current contracted accounts.
- Maintaining existing service contracts with regards to current rates, port pairs, surcharges, etc.
- Aggressively push the implementation of General Rate Increases as directed by senior management.
- Represent us as a prominent carrier in the territory.
- Valid Drivers License
- 3-5 years Direct Market experience with Ocean Vessel Carriers
- Must be knowledgeable in Excel Heavy Reporting
