Our full-time non-exempt (hourly) Access Screener helps to support our mission and team so we can work in the most efficient and effective way. You will work with the Access team to ensure that individuals contacting Adult & Child Health seeking services receive a helpful, supportive, and immediate response to their requests. You will assist in facilitating a smooth transition into Adult & Child services for those who meet entrance criteria or to help ensure a positive Adult & Child experience for those referred to other providers.

This role will work Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm but will have the opportunity for remote work and flexible scheduling.

What You'll Do

• Complete required documentation and data entry in a clear, accurate, and timely fashion
• Obtain information to determine if Adult & Child has appropriate services for client
• Screen and make appointments with the appropriate services for callers who meet admission criteria
• Facilitate intakes, transfers and discharges
• Manage schedules and walk-ins
• Collaborate with community partners and internal service lines to link client with appropriate services and support

• Bachelor's degree in a Human Services or related field
• Must have experience working with mental health consumers in a clinically oriented setting
