Job description
Provide student-athletes with academic counseling, registration assistance and career guidance. Assess academic needs and learning styles for a select group of student-athletes and provide educational support strategies and skills to improve academic performance. Monitor the academic progress of student-athletes to ensure compliance with University of Nebraska, Big Ten Conference and NCAA rules leading to college graduation. Assist with academic support program events, components, and duties as assigned by the Executive Associate Athletic Director for Academics. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion. Position requires working some evenings and weekends.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree plus two years related experience in an educational setting required. Evidence of effective interpersonal communication skills. Evidence of organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer Master’s degree; Experience working with student-athletes in a college academic setting. General working knowledge of institutional, conference, and NCAA rules.
