Our client is in the retail industry, adding an A/R Manager to their growing team!

What the A/R Manager will do:
- Hands on with the largest customers
- Handle escalations for the Team
- Credit management: review new customers and analyze credit-worthiness. Extend credit, review and evaluate existing customer’s credit annually for any changes.
- Reconcile large customer accounts, review and maintain aging,
- Monitor metrics and provide reporting to CFO and parent company
- Review existing A/R and Collections process for controls improvements or efficiencies and make recommendations to reduce DSO
- Maintain and update documentation of policies and procedures
- Work with auditors for the A/R portion of the audit.
- Supervise a team of 4 including training and development
Preferred qualifications for the A/R Manager
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred #CFSSEP2022
- 5-7 years of A/R experience, including collections
- 5 years of supervisory experience
- Strong leadership skills and team oriented, able to motivate others
- Outgoing personality and results-driven
