Requirements: 5-12th Music Endorsement
Description: Madrid Jr/Sr High School is actively seeking a 5-12th Grade Band Teacher to join our team starting in 2023-2024. Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Concert Band, Jazz Band, Pep Band and Marching Band. We offer a positive school culture, a successful band program, and a supportive community located just outside the Ames, Ankeny, and Des Moines areas. Come join our team!
Performance Responsibilities:
Highly motivated, flexible, and enthusiastic about working with students.
Evidence of effective routines and procedures that lead to a positive classroom environment that promotes student achievement.
Knowledge of and experience with using current technology to enhance learning.
A desire for growth through professional goals and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues and district experts.
