This position focuses on the guidance and support of junior assembly operators and the complete assembly of an EV charging product.

Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Perform a range of manufacturing / assembly tasks, with an emphasis on the assembly of electronic and mechanical components.
- Perform at an experienced level, working above the standards expected of an Assembly Operator.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the production process and train the Assembly Operators as required.
- Preparing wiring and assembly of complex electronics and associated sub-systems/systems.
- Routing & connecting component harnesses to sub-systems and other ancillary printed circuit board assemblies.
- Participate in pre-production builds learning and improving processes from Engineering.
- Assembling, modifying, reworking and/or reassembling units using various hand and power tools.
- Perform 'other' assembly tasks such as potting and curing of adhesives, surface preparation and cleaning
- Apply the 5S principles during and at the end of each shift.
- Conduct general duties if requested by their supervisor/manager such as 5S, reworking, scrapping, cleaning up.
- Follow up on NCRs (non-conformance reports) on errors made & share with the team the experience, resolution & lessons learnt in order to avoid it re-occurring.
- Order weekly requirements for area & follow up focusing on shortages.
The benefits:
- A base salary of $21/hr. + $.25 retention increase every 3 months (*for first full year of employment, up to $20/hr.) + attendance bonus
