Job description
The University of Alabama System is accepting applications for a summer law clerk position based in Huntsville on the campus of The University of Alabama in Huntsville. This is an on-site position that can accommodate a full-time or part-time work schedule and is available for flexible start and end dates during the summer of 2023.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent legal research and analysis skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Education/Training/Experience:
- Qualified rising second-year and third-year law students
- Strong academic record as an undergraduate and law student, with a preferred minimum GPA of 3.0
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform timely and effective legal research and writing
- Assist University Counsel in projects or matters as needed
Summer law clerks receive compensation of $30.00 per hour. This position is not benefits eligible.
