2022-2023 Parking and Transportation, Student Parking Associate
Job description
The Parking and Transportation team is currently seeking a student to join their team of professionals.
Duties to include:
- Availability to work some weekends and weeknights a requirement
- Assist in campus events
- Assist in transportation operations to FIU community in GPE, CATS, Panther Mover and Tapride
- Assist in creation and placement of signs for events
- Assist with Customer Service Center operations
- Assist with enforcement operations in patrolling campus lots and garages with LPR vehicle issuing citations
- Answers phone calls, chats and emails
- Assist directing traffic in ingress and egress during campus events
- Front desk transactions
- Data entry
- Other duties as assigned by administration

Who May Apply
- Students enrolled at FIU, who have been awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) as part of their Financial Aid Award package.
- Student must be enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credit hours in a course of study leading to a degree or a Financial Aid eligible certificate, during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
- Upon credits decreasing, award being canceled, or graduating, FWS employment must end.
Work Schedule
Hours will vary based on class schedule and needs of department.
