Responsibilities

• Execute on systems and procedures to ensure seamless execution of all school operations each day, including, but not limited to, school food set up and distribution, emergency plans, facility maintenance and upkeep, and supply and asset inventory and maintenance (technology, books, classroom supplies, etc);
• Ensure that the Front Office experience for scholars, families, and visitors is high quality and customer service aligned to our mission and values;
• Provide nursing services to scholars throughout the school day;
• Execute daily attendance and tardy procedures including ensuring the timely entry of data into the school information system and communication with families regarding daily absences and tardies;
• Build deep relationships with scholars, families, and staff to foster a culture of joy and community;
• Support schoolwide and grade level initiatives such as Parent University Nights, Spread the Love Week, Black History Month, 100thDay of School, Awards Ceremony, Storybook Character Day, Read Across America, Spring Fling, March Madness, etc.;
• Support school wide initiatives such as weekend recruitment events, evening parent workshops, and other events with advanced notice outside of regular work week and hours;
• Perform other duties, as deemed appropriate, by the Director of Operations and School Service.

Qualifications/Certification - All candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree. School based experience is highly preferred.

Physical requirements- This job is physically demanding and may require standing and walking for extended periods of time and lifting heavy objects up to 40lbs.

Prior Experience - Demonstrates organizational, project planning, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. A customer service orientation. Knowledge and use of G Suite (google apps). An excellent eye for detail.

Start Date - January 3, 2023
