We are a multi-wall bag manufacturer.

Forklift Operator

Summary: Responsible for supplying material to each machine.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: To fill each Press,Tuber, Pinchbottomer, Sewing and Palletizer with material to keep production moving. To remove full loads and store in appropriate area. Load and unload trucks. Keeping accurate records. Keep work area clean and replenish supplies as needed.

Responsible for working toward continuous improvement, improving safety, productivity and quality of work.

Will be trained on the roll grab for Paper Supply.

On a Daily Rotation blow out and clean forklifts & roll grabs!

Will be trained on the Palletizer.

Must be available for all shifts.

Any other duties as directed by management.

Qualifications: Length of training time required prior to performing minimum requirement of the job 2 weeks. Must be able to read work order and understand it, write and apply basic mathematical skills of addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. Must be able to communicate with all employees. Must be able to work any shift.

Physical Demands: Stands, walks, climbs and bends while performing general duties of position. May lift up to 50 lbs. Sit riding on forklift 90% of day.

Work Environment: Works inside plant 80%, outside and offsite warehouse 20%. Subject to production machinery noise, paper dust, lint, oil, grease, moisture and the oil vapors weather when necessary to go to warehouse.

• 1st shift - 5:00am - 3:30pm Mon-Thur

Hourly: $14.60/hour - .20¢ raise after 90 day orientation period.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.80 - $15.30 per hour
