Position Summary

The Summer Day Camp Director Demonstrates experience in leadership by Portraying genuine love for and interest in working with children and/or education. Shows ability to maintain an excellent work ethic, a high level of energy, and exceptional enthusiasm every working day.

Essential Functions

  • Assist summer day camp coordinator with essential knowledge.
  • Maintain a controlled environment for children to focus to learn efficiently.
  • Manage and cooperate with day camp teachers regarding summer camp program.

Working Conditions

Ability to walk, stand, bend squat climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to be able to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as file cabinet drawers and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax, and telephone.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum high school graduate of equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and literate in English. Korean is a plus but not required.)
  • At least two years of working with children and/or education related field.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
